You Can Trust His No.

Recently, I have been extended several great offers!! Offers that, at first glance, are “yes please” - fun, exciting and possible. And yet, they are not in the slip-stream of grace I’m currently in. So, the offers are graciously turned down with a “no”. Not just any “no” but a “no” that has a heart that is sorry and even a little uncertain.

This season has caused me to recall a time last year when I was asked to lead a ministry and God said no!  I had the time to do it, I was competent in it, I had loved it in previous seasons; but, God said no. Whilst walking and thinking this through with God one day, I heard Him say... “it’s a no for later!”

I’m a woman who lives in the present, but God has the future in His sights. Future endeavours, future schedules, future relationships, future travel. Even when we cannot see ahead, He can. Even when we don’t understand, He does. There is purpose in all His ways.

We can trust His “no” as much as we can trust His “yes”!

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Proverbs 3:5-7 TPT

Keep following His lead because He really does know best!
